Jeffrey B. Little has more than twenty years of Wall Street experience as a senior investment analyst and portfolio manager.  Mr. Little's career in the investment industry includes the premier brokerage firm, Dean Witter & Co., now Morgan Stanley, T. Rowe Price Associates, a prominent investment counsel firm in Baltimore, and more recently, a small retail brokerage firm in Boca Raton, Florida.  He founded Newport Research Associates in 2007.

During his years on Wall Street, Mr. Little has been a Senior Analyst and Group Leader of technology stocks, and Portfolio Manager and advisory committee member for one of the largest no-load mutual funds in the country.  In addition, he has been an instructor of technical analysis to a generation of sell-side account executives.

Over the years, he has covered many industries, including but not limited to, technology, health care, retailing, energy, restaurants, precious metals, and special situations – and without limits to size or capitalization.

Mr. Little is perhaps best known for his "how-to" books and software, enjoyed by serious investors for nearly three decades!  His first book, Understanding Wall Street, is now a McGraw-Hill classic with nearly one million copies in print.  The book is presently in its Fourth Edition – in English, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese.

The proprietary market indicators incorporated in his Wall Street Trader software were assembled after decades of study. This unique tool for stock market timing was first published in late 1997, and a new streaming-data version is now being developed. 

Mr. Little is a Finance graduate from New York University (Stern) and a retired Fellow of the Financial Analysts Federation and member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.  He is a former Vice President of T. Rowe Price Associates and he is currently registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority - Series 7, 86, and 87.

He and his wife, Judith, reside in Deerfield Beach, Florida and have a son, a daughter, and four grandsons.
